A1 VPS - Virtual private server
The A1 VPS service allows you to use Infrastructure as a Service – IaaS to meet all your needs in terms of production, test or development environment.
This service features:
- Payment of resources becoming due and payable on monthly level
- Enterprise type of security conditions
- Flexible models of sizing up and sizing down of resources.
The server infrastructure in your company is a capital investment and requires proper operational and storage conditions, as well as hiring trained IT staff. The A1 VPS service allows you to get your mind off all those routine tasks connected to equipment maintenance and stay focused on your primary activity.
The A1 VPS service also allows you so set up:
- Webpages and online shopping sites
- Apps and databases
- Data storage (Storage as a Service)
With the A1 VPS service, all your data are stored at the same data center as A1’s infrastructure equipment, thus being subject to the same security rules.
Please note that you will be charged for the service as of the activation, until such time as you decide to deactivate it.

A1 Hosting - webpage & e-mail hosting
The service offers hosting space for your company, intended for hosting web pages and e-mail messages on servers in A1's data center. In doing so, the company itself decides and administers how much of the space will be used for hosting (Linux) and how much for e-mail messages, that is, the company determines the size of individual e-mail boxes through a web console.
The offer features three basic A1 Hosting packages: A1 Hosting S, A1 Hosting M and A1 Hosting L.

Domain registration
A1 is an official MARNet’s registrar, registering national internet domains, such as .mk and subdomains, such as .com.mk, .edu.mk, .org.mk, .net.mk, and .inf.mk.

How can I register or renew a domain?
To register or renew your domain through A1, you will be required to file the following documents with any A1 store or with your sales agent:
- Properly filled in domain application, signed and stamped by an authorized person of the legal entity, that is, the registrant in the event of natural person
- Personal identification document - personal identification card or passport for private users, or extract from the Central Registry issued not more than 6 months ago for business users
- Paid domain registration or domain registration fee
Collocation - safe space for your ICT equipment
The Collocation service allows you to ensure continuity of your operations by placing your key ICT infrastructure at A1's data center.
The Collocation service features:
- Temperature monitoring, fire alarm and fire extinguishing system, access control and video surveillance, redundant air conditioning and power supply.
- The space in collocation cabinet is rented out based on the number of rack units required to accommodate your equipment and the maximal power of the collocated equipment.
Exoscale is an ICT service allowing you to use a virtual Cloud infrastructure. This service is offered in cooperation with a partner of the A1 Telekom Austria Group.
Exoscale has four data centers located in Europe, more specifically, two in Switzerland, one in Germany and one in Austria, which meet all European and global standard for Cloud operations.
The service offered is Infrastructure as a service (IaaS), which features:
- option for selection of a data center with servers located in Europe
- high service availability of 99.5%
- payment per usage, depending on the time and resources allocated
- excellent deals
Exoscale offers the possibility of creating production, test or development environment with instances (virtual machines) depending on your needs, where instance configuration is scalable.
Within the Exoscale service, you can set web apps on your databases, use data storage etc.

Services used are charged based on a monthly invoice issued by A1 in which all fees will be calculated based on the rates above and will be stated in MKD, based on the average foreign exchange rate of the NBRM on the date of issuing of the invoice.
